Agnes moves around a lot so breakfast time is usually when we do camera and lighting experiments because she’s a captive model. I’ve shot an entire series of YouTube videos of Agnes eating with different cameras. This morning we decided to test out the new strobes. I was going for a single light source with harsh lighting.
In the first two images the strobe is mounted high, about 6 feet away, and shooting down at a 45º angle. The following shots are at eye level and 90º to the model. Both setups are using a 22″ Octobox with the internal deflector installed. The third image could have used a reflector for a little fill on the left but I was going for dramatic lighting and that’s what experiments are for.
